The peachtree accounting program is rich with features, but it also lacks some very basic features as well. You vitrually cannot use the payroll feature without spending 150.00 more per year for a "optional" tax service. First and formost: I don't have the entire program. I have the trial version. I'm not sure how much that is modified from the actual version of this software, but I had to download it for my class. This software and some others in the line are like the cars from the 80's, use old technologies. The design is old and look and feel is old as well! I would think as if I was driving an 80's car when I used a newer technology software. Now is a time to use software that use .Net technology.

Customer Review: Look for anything else
I have used Peachtree for a few years (I am using 2003 Complete Edition) as the accounting software for my small business. I work in software; this package is as badly designed as it gets. It's awkward, clumsy, confusing, inconsistent, and painful. It doesn't get any worse. Plus, I get "offers" constantly for "upgrades" that get me all of $10 off the retail price. I can't imagine paying another cent on this weak excuse for a product.
